		<description>Good point about the transfer quality between different movies. The irony is that since Blu-ray came out most DVDs look better too as they use the same transfers.

But that&#039;s also another reason to replace your old DVDs. I remember the copy of The Hunt for Red October looked TERRIBLE by any standard, so I didn&#039;t mind replacing it with the Blu-ray version which looks fantastic.</description>

		<description>I find the quality levels between DVDs to be vast. My copy of Meet the Parents looks horrible, but, Night at the Museum looks much better. 

I suppose there could be other factors, (such as the colors used in the original film and how they look on my TV), but that is my experience.</description>
