Yeah I hear you, but really why shouldn’t MacBooks have a right click button. The new Macs come with mice with right click (disabled out of the box).

The real issue is that she relies on a few sites for work that require IE6. I tried to make them work in a OS X browser and they just don’t work. So she has to have windows, so i was going to install Windows on a Mac for her, but then there was the matter of the right click.

Yeah I know it sucks, cause I’m the one who has to manage it.

So wait, you’re saying a 2nd button under the trackpad was the dealbreaker? Jeez, I’ve not seen any user studies to support this assertion, but is it really that much harder to enable right click by putting a 2nd finger on the trackpad THEN hitting the button?

BTW, my wife hasn’t used a PC since Win2k, and she’ll never give up her Macbook. Different strokes

Same deal here, whenever my wife’s computer has a problem, I tell her she should’ve bought a Mac. Of course we all know Macs have problems too, but that’s besides the point.

I told my cousin a while back that if she got a laptop, to get a mac. I probably went a little “mac zealot” on her but whatever.

I come to find out from another cousin that she just got a new dell. Of course my first reaction was WTF, but then he told me they were watching a movie on her laptop and it just kept freezing, stuttering and she had to restart it and it still didn’t work.

I just hope she sees the error of her ways and ends up getting a mac.

I hope see ends up trading that POS in for a macbook.

That’s a good idea, but she already has the Vaio.

But before she got it, I did try to give her my old MacBook pro to use instead of her 5 year old Compaq m300, but she refused to use it.

Wow, that sounds really aggravating. Especially something that trivial.

Have you tried doing the geek move and just get here a macbook so she can “temporarily” use it until the vaio comes, and just wait until she gets used to it?
