Unfortunately, most IMAP isn’t true push and only Yahoo mail offers push on the iPhone. I would love to figure out a way to do this with Yahoo instead of AOL, but I can’t figure out the IMAP settings and if you use the autoconfigured Yahoo account on the iPhone you can’t change the from address or smtp server.

Did you make any changes to the advanced settings after your initial setup? For some reason, I’m still having to go in to my Inbox to get messages – they don’t push automatically.
